Joe Cavallaro is an artist, former creative director, and RISD grad.

He worked and exhibited in New York City in the 1990s. He was represented by Feature, and had two solo shows. At various times Joe was artist assistant to Saint Clair Cemin, Felix Gonzalez Torres, and worked for gallerists Andrea Rosen and Simon Watson.

In 1995 Joe won a Tiffany Foundation grant. His work is in the permanent collections of the Walker and the Weatherspoon Museums.

He moved to San Francisco in 1997, and continued to exhibit through 2003.

From 2003 through 2022 he held various lead creative roles for American-based retailers.

Joe now lives and works in Los Angeles, and is focused on themes that persist to interest him.
